Pokekara is an Android app developed by M&E Mobile Technology Limited (M&E Mobile Technology Limited Room 1903, 19/F, Lee Garden One 33 Hysan Avenue Causeway Bay Hong Kong).

Pokekara first became available on 23 Oct 2018. It is estimated that Pokekara has been downloaded between 1000000 and 5000000 times from the Play Store.

Pokekara 1.7.17 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows an application to find out the space used by any package.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to modify global audio settings.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_SYSTEM_ALERT, shown on top of all other apps. Very few apps should use this permission; these windows are intended for system-level interaction with the user.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
